SIRI: Smart Industry Readiness Index
Start, scale and sustain your digital transformation journey.
What is SIRI?
SIRI is a global benchmark for Industry 4.0 and digital transformation, established by the International Centre for Industrial Transformation and backed by the World Economic Forum.
Who can use it?
SIRI is suitable for manufacturers in all sectors, at differing maturities and sizes.
How does it help businesses?
SIRI provides a snapshot in time. It is a guided assessment by the organisation against sixteen dimensions. SIRI identifies the current score and compares this to best-in-class, the broad middle, and the bottom performers within an industry sector. By considering the organisation's goals and timescales, SIRI can help to identify the best next steps to take.
SIRI is a very cost-effective method to get expert insight and a holistic assessment of the business. We fully expect organisations to experience a 10x return on investment by acting on the key recommendations from an assessment.
We may be able to help you apply for NBSL or similar funding (if based in the NE of England) to cover up to 50% of the cost.
How much does it cost?

What are the dimensions?
SIRI is based on the three building blocks of process, technology and organisation. These are divided into eight pillars, and then to sixteen different dimensions as shown below.
How long does it take?
We conduct a SIRI assessment over a period of around six weeks, including preparation and data-gathering. The basic assessment requires a total of two days in-company, including line walk, 1:1 interviews and group review.
